Cybertec becomes part of the Zucchetti Group

The trend of acquisitions of highly specialised companies by Zucchetti continues, which, with over 966 million euros in turnover (expected 2019), confirms itself as the first Italian company by software turnover since 2006 as well as the company with the most complete offer of software solutions and services in Europe.

To enter the world of software for production planning and scheduling, he acquired Cybertec, a company based in Trieste that has been operating on the market for about thirtyyears and has hundreds of CyberPlan installations around the world.

Helmut Kirchner, CEO of Cybertec, expresses his satisfaction with this agreement: “Joining the Zucchetti Group is a great opportunity for Cybertec because it will allow it to consolidate growth in the software sector for production planning and scheduling and guarantee a future of continuity. Thanks to this acquisition, we will have the opportunity to expand investments for the development of our CyberPlan software, already well positioned in the Advanced Planning and Scheduling software market, also integrating it with all the other components of the Zucchetti offer.”

“In the Zucchetti ERP strategy, it is essential to add ‘vertical’ application components that are highly innovative and at the same time easily integrated with the ‘horizontal’ management solutions already present in our offer. – says Giorgio Mini, vice president of Zucchetti – CyberPlan is certainly a reference software in the production planning market and interfaces easily with Zucchetti’s technological platforms. In this way we can meet all the needs of manufacturing companies, from accounting, administrative and management to logistics and production”.
